Circular Development Hub 2.0
Circular Development Hub is a collaborative platform bringing together business support organisations, academia, municipalities and regional authorities. The initiative aims to accelerate the transition to a circular economy by providing targeted support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the food system and related sectors, such as the packaging industry and life sciences.
The transition towards circular business models is essential for achieving climate and sustainability targets while strengthening the resilience of companies and value chains in response to global challenges.
Participating companies are offered tailored support based on their individual needs and starting points. The transition towards circularity requires collaboration between actors across the value chain. As an initial step, the project focuses on activities that promote inspiration, matchmaking, and experimentation and learning between relevant stakeholders.
Where promising collaborations are identified, targeted interventions are implemented in the form of business development support and pilot projects adapted to the selected symbiosis-based or circular collaboration. These activities aim to support companies in developing circular products, processes or business models, thereby contributing to the broader transition towards a circular economy.
