Nothing F!shy and Folkets Pops make a successful exit from the incubator
This week, two of the twelve companies currently in Krinova’s food incubator made their exit. The two companies – Folkets Pops and Nothing Fishy – both with products aimed at the consumer market, have sharpened their business models, raised capital, and established a solid position during their time in the incubator.
“We are proud and happy about the companies’ fantastic progress and look forward to following their continued journey. Even though they are now leaving the incubator, they will remain part of our community,” says Truls Bretz, Business Designer and Head of the Innovation Arena at Krinova.
Folkets Pops has developed naturally vegan sorbet pops with sustainability at the core. The product has been well received in the market, and recently the company received an order exceeding the total sales of the previous year. Folkets Pops is now moving on to Krinova’s Scale program, where they will continue scaling up their circular production.
Nothing F!shy, which develops plant-based seafood alternatives for conscious food lovers, has gained strong market exposure. Their products are now available in over 200 stores and have also achieved major traction in the foodservice sector. The company was awarded “Best Product Innovation” at the Nordic Organic Food Fair 2022 and is now one of three finalists for “Foodservice Product of the Year 2024”, organized by DLF.
During their time in the incubator, both companies received tailored business development support, access to investor networks, and opportunities to collaborate with international partners.
