Founded by Elisabeth Uhlig, PhD, and Åsa Håkansson, Associate Professor at Lund University, the company builds on cutting-edge research in food hygiene and microbiology. Incubator Journey
VivoProtect joined Krinova’s food incubator in 2025 to accelerate their innovation from research to market. Through Krinova’s business development support, networks and test environments, the team is now working to build a sustainable and competitive business model while exploring market opportunities for their probiotic solutions.
The incubator provides a strong platform for scaling scientific innovation into real-world impact, enabling VivoProtect to strengthen both Sweden’s and Europe’s competitiveness in sustainable agriculture.
