Public Innovation
Public Innovation creates new solutions for the future of society. Kristianstad University and Krinova have vast experience in research and work with the public sector. The need to define challenges and support the development of innovation in healthcare and wellness care is high and prioritised. The potential for new products and services is also great both nationally and internationally. Today, it is not enough to just work with improvements in healthcare. A new direction, new ideas from other areas and a larger number of industries, as well as new knowledge and risk-taking are all needed in order for something new to develop.
Within the framework of Open Innovation – collaboration, Krinova works with an incubation module for public innovations between research, the business sector and public organisations.
Since 2013, Krinova has been working with Kristianstad University, Malmö University and Copenhagen Business School to develop a new incubator component where ten so-called pilot IBOs (Innovation arena Business Objects) are used to develop competencies and capacities to support public innovation.
