There is a huge untapped potential for increased sustainability in our current food system – linear flows where valuable resources and synergies are currently lost can instead be modified and recirculated.
Innovative thinking and collaboration across traditional actor boundaries are needed for the food industry to be at the forefront. By increasing knowledge, strengthening capacity and forming new collaborations between actors and businesses in Skåne, the hub supports the transition to a more circular sustainable food system.
