Ulrika Hasselgren Appointed New CEO of Krinova
Krinova Incubator & Science Park has appointed Ulrika Hasselgren as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ulrika has spent over 20 years in the finance industry as an entrepreneur, CEO, and leader in both Sweden and internationally. She founded and was the CEO of Ethix SRI Advisors (later sold to Institutional Shareholder Services), served as Global Head of Sustainable Investments at Danske Bank, and most recently held the role of Head of Sustainability at the Coeli Group.
Ulrika will assume her new role as CEO of Krinova on January 10, 2025, succeeding Christian Nyhlén, who left the position earlier this year to take on new assignments. Until Ulrika takes office, Jonas Haak will serve as the interim Executive Chairman.
– There was great interest in the position, and we had many qualified applicants. We are very pleased to have now signed an agreement with Ulrika. Her leadership skills and extensive experience, combined with a strong network, will bring new perspectives and opportunities to Krinova, says Jonas Haak, Chairman of the Board at Krinova.
Over the past decade, Krinova has strengthened its position as a leading innovation environment. In the food sector, Krinova has established itself as a national key player with its excellence incubator, partnerships, projects, and events. Locally and regionally, Krinova has also built a strong position as a growth engine, thanks to systematic collaboration with businesses, regions, municipalities, and through updates to its physical environment and offerings.
– With joy and gratitude, I look forward to leading Krinova into its next phase of growth, where we will create value together through collaboration and good business. It feels especially meaningful to do this in Kristianstad, my hometown, says Ulrika Hasselgren, incoming CEO of Krinova.
