Foodtech Innovation Network
Foodtech Innovation Network (FIN) is a regional collaboration project that aims to strengthen the innovative power of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in foodtech and thereby contribute to a more sustainable, healthy and resilient food system. By supporting entrepreneurs and companies with innovative solutions, the project wants to unleash the full potential of foodtech. For the benefit of both people, the planet and regional employment.
Foodtech Innovation Network offers needs-based support to small and medium-sized enterprises in the food sector in Skåne and Blekinge. Support is provided, for example, in the form of coaching, investment and business development support, knowledge-raising initiatives and lectures. Membership in the network is free of charge and open to SMEs with the ambition to contribute to the development of the food system of the future.
As part of the initiative, the Foodtech Forum, Scandinavia’s largest foodtech event, is also arranged. Each year, the forum brings together leading players in foodtech to highlight new ideas, technologies and collaborations that drive the transformation of the food system forward.
Through the Foodtech Innovation Network, the regions’ position as a hub for innovative foodtech is strengthened, while the project contributes to long-term sustainable growth and increased competitiveness in the food industry.
In November 2025, Krinova, together with the Swedish Food Academy, stepped in as new partners in the ongoing project.
